Working With Me
How to Be Part of This Work
People find their way here in different moments. It might be after quietly reading for months before saying a word.
Or you might show up mid-crisis, mid-grief, mid-something-you-can’t-quite-name yet.
Some want a gentle presence in their inbox. Some want to go deeper.
Whatever brought you here, there’s a place for you.
The Newsletter
The newsletter is the heart of Befriending Yourself.
I write about healing, nervous system awareness, self-compassion, relationships, emotional honesty, embodiment, creativity, grief, rest, and the ongoing practice of learning to stay with yourself rather than abandon yourself.
Some essays are deeply personal. Others are more reflective or practical. All of them are written with the hope that you feel a little less alone inside your own inner world.
Free to subscribe. No pressure to do anything else.
The Paid Subscription — $10 CAD/month or $100 CAD/year
The paid subscription is for those who want a more ongoing relationship with this work.
I think of it less as “extra content” and more as a relational practice space where I share deeper reflections, voice notes, and explorations that don’t always belong in public. It’s where the more unfinished, more honest writing lives.
Paid subscribers also receive early access to workshops, discounts on future offerings, and occasional member gatherings and Q&As.
Your support makes it possible for me to continue creating from a slower, more thoughtful place. That matters more than I can say.
The Sustaining Member Plan — [$200]
This plan is for people who want to be in a more direct relationship with this work and with me.
It includes everything in the paid subscription, plus one private 60-minute conversation with me each year. That conversation can take many forms: a guided meditation shaped around what you’re moving through, a coaching inquiry, a question about mindfulness or practice, or simply a chance to talk. People who choose this tier tend to be at a meaningful threshold — a transition, a loss, a slow unravelling, a beginning. They want something more than words on a screen.
If that’s where you are, this might be for you.
1:1 Relational Mindfulness Coaching — Online, Open Worldwide
I offer one-on-one support for people navigating burnout, overwhelm, relationship struggles, life transitions, and the deeper work of reconnecting with themselves.
This isn’t therapy, and it doesn’t require a referral or a diagnosis. It’s a collaborative, relational space grounded in mindfulness, nervous system awareness, and attachment healing. Together, we explore the patterns that shape your inner and relational life with honesty, curiosity, and care.
Sessions are held online and open to anyone, anywhere.
1:1 Relational Counselling — Online, BC · AB · SK · MB · NL
I also offer registered counselling for residents of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Newfoundland & Labrador.
The approach is similar: relational, mindfulness-based, grounded in attachment healing and compassionate self-understanding.
The difference is the professional framework and scope of work: counselling is a regulated practice that can go into deeper psychological territory: trauma, grief, and longstanding patterns rooted in the past.
Coaching is forward-facing, focused on where you are and where you want to go, and doesn't require a formal therapeutic relationship. Both are grounded in the same values; the right fit depends on where you live, what you're carrying and what kind of support feels most useful right now.
We create space to explore emotional overwhelm, relationship patterns, burnout, grief, self-worth, life transitions, and the slow, non-linear process of coming back to yourself.
This work is not about fixing who you are. It’s about meeting yourself with greater awareness, honesty, and care.
Speaking & Collaborations
I’m available for selected podcasts, interviews, workshops, and retreats that align with the themes of this work: self-compassion, nervous system healing, relational mindfulness, and what it means to stop abandoning yourself.
If you’d like to explore working together, I’d love to hear from you.
